Having cleaned up my Ebay purchase I have found a sticker and now know my new motorcycle lift is a 'Motomoclos' made in Italy.

They have a website, but I'd like to email them in Italian to ask about the availabilty of spares and extras.
I can't speak, or type, a word of it (apart from pizza - sorry!) so as we're a multicultural forum I'm sure there will be someone out there who could translate something for me prior to me sending it.
Please PM me if you can help

thank you in advance

Sherpa ;)

By the look of that 'English' they used babelfish themselves! babelfish is fine for translating single words or sometimes simple phrases but if you want to impress them with your Italian don't use it for a whole email - it'll come out as gibberish.

They're likely to speak some English anyway - try an email in English first and if you don't get a reply then pursue the translation option. You could start with something polite like "Mi dispiace ma non parlo Italiano" (I'm sorry, but I don't speak Italian) and then launch into English. My Italian wouldn't stretch to a whole email.

I have an Italian bird knocking around the house so if you want a bit of personal translation PM me and I'll get 'er to call you or email what you want to say.
