Just got back from the Bunch of Grapes. Food good, real ale very good. Food a bit pricey for a mid week meal out me thinks(cheapest main meal £12 Veggie, meat option cheapest £13.50)
So that is a non starter, so I have opted for the Gwaelod-y-garth inn/arms(went there too but only for a pint and that is a lot more reasonable plenty of £8-9 choices to be had)
So now will it be the Weds 13th or the Thurs 14th Please let me know ASAP

The pub is approx half a mile up Main Road on the left, on the junction for the moutain road. You can either park at the rear of pub or out the front if there is room.

Great food. Eaten there many times. Parking is a problem. Car park invariably full, and seems to be on a 45 degree slope. Always had to park on road out the front. No real problem, but those coming on bikes might like to know in advance. Won't be able to make this one as away in W. Wales. Have a great night.

Gwealod-y-Garth booked on the Weds @ 2000hrs (thursday fully booked-a good sign i hope)
I have booked for 8 people, going by the numbers on the last turn out I will make it more(or less) if needs be.
As for Gypsy's 45 degree slope I expect he had a few too many beers as it can't be more than 25 at a push or is that a roll
But I am sure all ewe roughy toughy 'tossers' can manage an ickle incline like thatcan't ewe

Awe thats a shame We were planning to take a ride over on Thursday 'Got commitments Wednesday's'

Jill just got herself some muffs and independent gaucho (wraparound over trousers, very warm) ready for 180 miles in the cold frosty night air.
