Ten of us turned up, coming from Haverfordwest to Cardiff. We are doing it again in December, will post the new date when decided upon

Seriously, these do's only make sense if you know each other well enough to play catch up rather than get to know you.

There's an old saying : " Friends are strangers you've yet to meet"
Anyway, most of us know each other through various ways : Horizons Unlimited meetings, ABR rallies, The BMW Off Road Skills or the TRF.
One of the guys gave a very interesting presentation after the meal on his trip through Norway to the North Cape, slide show on a laptop.
We had a chat about people's trips this year to Morocco, Turkey, The Dambusters Run and North America . After the next curry (probably early December) one of the guys has offered to give a little talk on his adventures along the Trans America Trail so that should be good.
