My SWMBO has decided that the only way to spend a reasonable amount of time with me is to get herself a bike licence.
Anybody recommend somewhere in the Manchester/Cheshire area which might be appropriate? She'll do CBT and direct access, preferable all in one session.

Hi.
My Sarah Teach has recently passed her DAS with Arrow Training, which is part of Bill Smith Motors, Chester.
She had moved to them after a spell with Marriotts in Birkenhead, where she was not 100% happy.
Arrow soon picked her up after a first test fail (for U turn), and after a bank of lessons, and test date allocation (queue jump as test centres had no spare dates until Sept), she turned up at home with a pass certificate, and a very big smile.

If your partner wishes to contact Sarah Teach, drop her a PM, I'm sure she'll convey any info if required.

Hi, I did my cbt and then my DAS with MSM based near the middle of Manchester. They were quite busy really and had a bit of a waiting list at the time. The only thing they didn't do was a block book CBT/DAS in a week. They preferred to get a pupil in and through the cbt and then assess how many actually days they would require for DAS on the 500's.

If you did use these people, may I recommend that you try and get a test at Sale, rather than Hyde, as Hyde is full of tight roads with lots of parked vehicles and added complications, whereas Sale is just nicer, and more wide open.

Best of luck with whatever you end up doing / going :thumb
