Sold NSU Quickly Mopeds

I am selling a couple of old NSU Quickly moped from my late father’s estate. They have not seen the road since the late 80s early 90s.

I have the old registration document for one of the moped and the other moped is a spare. I have contacted DVLA and they have informed me that the new owner can request a new V5C for a small fee.

I have not registered the green one in my name as I intend to move these on to someone who has an interest in recommissioning these.

They will need a full going over and recommissioning. Like I said only one is road registered. The green one.

I have full email correspondence with DVLA to explain the circumstances and next course of action for the new owner.

I can remember many moons ago travelling to Skegness on the green one from Derby. It was a long journey but it made it there and back.

I would recommend anyone that is interested comes and sees them and does the required checks. I did squirt a bit of oil down the bores some years ago.

I want £800 for the pair of them. A nice project for someone.

Great little "peds" in those days they were all the rage, and the 16 Yr olds world of freedom.
We still had Telegram boys whizzing around on peds. We were in awe of them as the post office used to put them through their test down our way. So they were regarded as accomplished riders.
Started my biking journey on a Honda Graduate. Never looked back.......except for the odd shoulder check

The NSU slowly .....as they were known, great little bikes and an easy project, bargain.
His and hers peds, I love the skirt guards and pump on the beige one.
