Fellow tossers, i could't resist any longer................ i've got a zumo:thumb2. now what i need to know does the nt version maping run on the computer with the non nt (2610 maping), or do they conflict with each other.

thks Hman

I don't think it'll be a problem. Installing an NT version of City Navigator should just add another mapset to the drop down box at the top left of Mapsource.

I have v8 non NT and v9 NT on the same laptop. Only problem is remembering which mapset to use with each unit. :o Just remember NT gives full post code searches, which once you've found the place and made it into a waypoint, then open non NT and its easy :)

Excellent, I was just about to ask that. Next question - I've got a 2610 and v9 non-nt.

Jane has a Zumo 550 - I haven't installed the software on the pc but will now I know it's safe to do so.

But - if I'm creating routes can I create on one and send to both units?
Can I just create the route in Mapsource 9 (non nt) and send the route to both Zumo and the 2610 - or is it more complicated than that?

Yes you can send the route in the either version to either unit. But, may get the warning "route does not exactly match the roads, do you want to recalculate?" from the "wrong" unit.

Presumably you just turn recalculate off on the unit and don't recalculate the route?
