numpty questions

got a streetpilot 111 to use as a spare
daft questions
does it need rechargables or normal batterys in it? as it doesnt work wi no batterys in it just on the charger (car)
can i just buy another card to just put in and work,
daft questions i kno, but no instructions

Normal or rechargeable, unit doesn't charge them though.

Yes it can be used without batteries fitted.

Aonther data card can be used instead of the original one, whether you can unlock the mapping you've already got and install it on the SP3 is another matter

i was just gonna get a europe card and use it ?
my others a 2620 an is completly diffrent, no card

Different sort of card. Garmin fit only AFAIK

Might be some on the internet, best get a 250 mb one if you can, so it'll fit the whole of the UK on.

I used rechargeables in mine without problems.
Garmin proprietory cards can be found on fleabay and elsewhere - a 256Mb at the right price would be good..
