Got back on Sunday ,racing itself was great just a shame about the one or two crash's upsetting the schedule a bit .
Ended up meeting a couple of powerangers on the ferry over who where a great couple of guys they convinced me to camp on the official site with them
That was an experience in itself , craic was immense though and me tent and bike got out unscathed .
I was in the inn on the coast on Thursday evening watching racing and all the locals where a extremely friendly lot .
Would I go again ,maybe in a few years yes but there's so many others I want to visit first starting with the ulster gp .
Forgot to mention it was also fookin cold Gav

Keis heated vest on all weekend + grips on max.
I wouldn't be without my heated vest now i am used to using it.
Went to Crossans and McCallans.
McCallan kindly gave me a 1290 to try. A short spin due to the late hour.
A fine motorcycle, very similar riding dynamic to my GSA. The suspension and anti-dive gives it a GS feel.
Overpriced in my opinion I don't think it should be more expensive then my GSA. That would be €29k in my money fully spec'ed.
Great racing but they should have moved the big race forward while they had the weather.
I wouldn't be without my heated vest now i am used to using it.

We were at the Inn Thursday night as well, up on the grandstand seats, lovely day, I'm sure I got a bit sunburnt as well.... A great meeting, albeit a bit cold on Saturday.

Hi smudge ,if that was Thursday evening if you had turned 180 degree after this photo was taken I was stood 4 blokes along from the end of the stand up grandstand ( cheap skate I know).It this you???
Right along side some guys from Glasgow one of which was Kevin bridges uncle bizarrely .
It was a good place to watch wasn't it I only aimed for 3or4 pints ended up having 8or9 the craic was that good .
I was that pissed after a few more on the campsite I managed to sleep through an attempted murder only metres from my tent
I'll post a pic in a bit of the aftermath . Gav

4.55 am I'm awoken by a copper who'd unzipped my tent and was pulling me sleep bag off me he says have you heard a disturbance ,I say wtf and no I haven't heard a thing officer .
now this isn't what you need when your head is banging is it, but for the life of me I couldn't get back to sleep so at 6 I climbed out of the tent ( now usually at this time in the morn I would just piss right along side me tent but couldn't this peticular time as the two officers in the car was watching every move I made .

Apparently the couple in the yellow tent where be really noisy when they returned from a night club .
Then some guy camped up where the rozzers where parked had shouted down to them to shut the fook up and this was ignored so he said if I have to tell you again your going to have it .
So this guy unzipped his tent picked up his hammer he'd bought with him to knock his pegs in with walked down to the yellow tent unzipped it and cracked your man on the head with it twice .
Then walked back to his own tent climbed in his bag and went back to sleep
And that's where the rozzers found him .

All in all I had a great time and the northern irish folk where really friendly and good craic.
