O2 sensor fault?

Took the bike to Andorra last week and it refused to start and to tick over cleanly when did start.
YOM 2000
1150GS
40,000 on the clock
It got better once we got back down from the mountains but still ran poorly at tick over, stalling at a couple of toll booths.
May have been some bad fuel at one of the fill ups prior to the mountains as we filled up at a hick garage and my mates LT ran rough for a time as well but soon cleared up.
Throttle balance and clearances all done 3000 miles ago just before the run but not since.
Its gonna get a good going over this weekend but was hoping for a little insight in case i need to get parts or things above normal service items.

Had a problem recently with spluttering right through the rev range. Similar mileage to yours. Started OK tho, I changed the lambda probe and it was fine ish.

I haven't got the problem that I had, but there is still a little niggle there.
May look at the power commander next.

Runs ok when its going along(best as I can tell at 90) just plays up when its ticking over.
Ran sweet up to the mountains so i am hoping its simple.............like me

try unplugging it and ride it a little, cured my bike. trying to locate a spare probe to finally check it out.

Just done a very quick check on the throttle bodies and they dont seem to have gone out of balance at all....didnt expect that.
Think i'll try that Kent and there was one on Ebay last time I looked.
Its under R1150GS WITH 15 HOURS TO GO.
