What about the byways, they are free :thumb personally I would not pay £30,why is it so expensive this course? is there a buffet and drinks laid on or something?

hi chaps thanks for looking ,the price is based on average cost local tracks ,washbrook farm ,hit the dirt and wildtracks plus a donation to red cross for supplying medical back up

as for ktm ,it was just a start point with gs we would be open to other types if it was worth a go ,but with all tracks above for racing bikes we where
trying to be different

thanks for the interest fenman

Hi Fenman,

I'd give it a go, 30 quids a bit steep but it sounds good, count me in.

Cheers

close thread

thanks all for looking ,with little interest shown we will be unable to go ahead this year purhaps next year :thumb

Hi Fenman

I don't want to hijack your thread or undermine your efforts but there is a sand quarry in Norfolk that my 4x4 club uses regularly with hills, dips, mud, water, etc. etc.

This normally costs us £100 per day to hire and could cater for quite a few bikes (10+) which would bring the cost down. I haven't included any thoughts regarding loo's or First Aid.

If you and/or any others are interested I could see if its available for a day.

Ralph,

Mike

It certainly is mate :thumb

Its only worth it if there's enough interest and people need to be aware that the mud there sticks like s**t on a blanket and it takes the rest of the week to clean it off. Excellent fun though.

Maybe this would be an idea instead of the Llama run in July?

Ralph,
The owner of the pit told me (some weeks ago) that the pit was in use most weekends by some 4x4 club or another, but I will make equiries.
They have already hinted that my daughters boyfriend (moto cross er) can use it when not used by 4 wheelers.
It is about half a mile from me as the crow flies.
MIke.
