Hi I am doing the off road skills level 1 on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd June. Wondering if anyone else is booked on this and is riding down from Chester / North Wales area. If you are and you fancy meeeting up and heading down together please let me know. :thumby:

Have fun. Have you booked a 1200?

April 13/14 for me level 2.

Yeah booked a 1200 I have a 650 Sertao that I am riding down on but as I am 6ft 6 I have been thinking about the 1200 for a while so great opportunity to try it out.

I don't think that the 1200 is any harder to ride than the smaller bikes. Enjoy.

I like to take the car down because it gives me plenty of options with what clobber to take down and it is more relaxed for the drive home.

Going in the car is advisable, as it's easier to drive rather than ride, if you break any bones!:D

Off road

Yes I did the course a few years ago had a big off and damaged my shoulder. So glad my mate and I took the car ouch!

I did the course back in 2007 & thoroughly enjoyed it. Booked the 1200 and had a blast on it. The weather that particular weekend was blisteringly hot, so heaps of dust around the enduro land park.

I also stayed @ The Abercrave Inn over the weekend with a lot of the lads on the course, and it was right laugh; beer, sunny evenings & talking bollarx....heaven!!

Roynie and I will both be there. :beerjug: We've booked Sertaos.

We did the same course (Level 1) about 4 years ago, but haven't practiced much since. Coming by car from Ireland though. I remember a lot of the guys who came by bike last time regretted it - some even booked in for an extra night at the Abercrave.
