Hello

I have some big / chunky motocross boots. Neither my everyday motorcycle trousers, nor my revit poseidon trousers which I use for weekend and week-long touring come close to being able to fit over these boots.

So I'm looking for :
Baggy trousers, big enough / zips etc to go over motocross boots.
Ideally gore tex
With plenty of armour - for when I fall off lol!
Veggie friendly - material not leather
Something that would survive weekends in Wales and weeks in the Pyrenees

Any suggestions?
An alternative may be force field underwear then gore-tex overtrousers.

Would appreciate advice from others who have already solved thus problem.

Thanks and regards, Jules

Check out the range of Klim gear - spot on for all you want of them - top quality but not cheap. I use the Overland trousers on road (Gortex pro shell and armoured) and the light weight Dakar (with separate armour) off road.

+2 for Traverse. I wear them over knee protectors. They do have some leather on them, sorry.
My previous "waterproof" enduro trousers were Sinisalo, very tough, very comfortable, fit over Tech 8's, but not waterproof for much more than a heavy shower. For racing, fine, touring less so.

Depends which motocross boots you wear.

The BMW off road boots are enormous probably because of the slipper insert and the moulded plastic bits on the front and rear. I took a pair of the BMW boots back because my Rukka trousers would not do up over the top of the boots. I ended up buying some Alpinestar Tech7 boots which will fit inside the Rukka trousers.

Yeah, I like the look / spec of the Klim gear, apart from one thing.
It all seems to have leather on the inside of the knee which I don't want.
Any other brands that people can recommend ?
