i've just visited http://www.offroadroutes.net and downloaded a route near thetford - route 35 - does any one locally have any knowledge of this route or indeed fancy driving it with me?

I live in March, Cambs, so could be interested in getting out and trying this one out, i assume by driving, you actually mean riding? (no i'm not being funny, just wanted to confirm you're thinking bikes not cars?)
Have you done it already? If so, what's it like? If not, do you have a date in mind?

Thetford forest.
Hi guys, It's nice to see you're coming out to play now that the muds dried up! We did thetford a couple of weeks before Stumpi, Tony allen and big Mark did Surrey. It was hard going. Straight, rutted and slippery. The sandy parts were fun though. Mark managed 102 mph at one point! I dare say it's rock hard dusty now. Tony and I might join you. I'll ask him. Cheers, Mark.

Is anyone up for tackling the forest on either 16th or 17th of July????
Seems a way off, but should give plenty people time to see this thread and hopefully get permission slips from SWMBO for the day out?
(I'm only offering a date, i have no knowledge of the tracks, would need somebody else to volunteer that info/lead)

Looks like there is at least 3-4 of us that are up for it, and looks like there isn't a lot of off road experience amongst us, which suits me as i've never been off road either... so looking for a lot of laughs, a lot of fun... and only looking to take my stock 12GS with standard Tourance tyres....
anyone going to volunteer to lead then??????
