Mutley has now joined the ranks of Britains top 10 snorers :D
At the Hog Roast he amazed all and sundry within a 50 yard radius at his musical skills utilizing his nose while asleep. Not even John Smith (on the other side of us) could reach the heady heights of resonance achieved by the 'off road' kid ;)
At the Hogroast Howard also ventured offroad with great aplomb, avoiding bomb craters and tank tracks on the Salisbury ranges. he is now racing to buy some offroad tyres to enhance his fast improving repatoire of offorad falling over skills :bounce1 :bounce1 :bow
The question is will he buy Heidenaus www.mynetmoto.com
Current news is that BTBR has been smitten by the 1200GS tank bars on my bike, rumour has it there may be a decision soon on a 1200 (just as good as an ADV) :bounce1 :bounce1 ) Alan was seen darting from bike to bike drooling over the metal, his brain in overdrive as to how he can modify his Audax bicycle to look like a GS :clap

Is Mutley the one that sounded like someone trying to start a 2 stroke chainsaw ??? :eek

we were camped on the other side of mutley, and though i'd give him an A for all night consistency, his snoring was as nothing compared to the true master of that art: the nocturnal nasal legend that is Twotter ;)

what's the problem with people snoring anyway? i just go to sleep, then i can't hear them :nenau

The only time I wear hearing protection when I am motorcycling, is when I am camping or sharing a bunk house on a GS do.

Standard issue on judgey Tours trips are a packet of Moldex ear plugs for each participant. When sharing a bunkhouse or a 4 berth cabin quite simply nothing else will do.

Not Twotter proof but then Nuclear bunkers aren't Twotter proof :D

Yes, I have to admit to being very pissed off over the weekend. :o

Yes, I also have to admit that I was looking very closely at some of the 1200's.

Yes, I suspect that its only a matter of time then isn't it............. :(

I have to say, those crashbar extensions make all the differance to the bike Fred. :thumb Very impressed.

But one thing is for certain though after walking around the site, I am so glad that I cancelled the 1200 GSA. Dont get me wrong, its a really nice bike & lovely looking, but it far to big to be considered for off roading, for me anyway. :o

My tent was next to John Smith and on Saturday morning he said that someone was snoring quite loudly

Saturday night I had the full impact of Mutley and John Smith doing a duet over a background of rain on my tent roof.

My missus woke up on Sunday with eyes like blood oranges, she was not amused :D

Wonderfully put

|So well put but Mutley has redeemed himself by sorting our pic' posting out..thats bad news for everyone as I go pic' posting ballistic :D :bounce1 And in case you don't know the offender.............................

But you don't think the 1150 is anymore capable do you?

To be fair, like myself you have ridden 'real' enduro bikes, so none of the beemers are any good off road, and I'm including the much hailed HP sauce too!

They're just to bloody heavy. I almost had mine stuck in a mud hole on Sunday, thank God I was going quick enough to power out of it.

I miss my WR so much, as soon as I can afford it I'll get another or may try a CRF 450 :bounce1

Yep the crash bar extensioins look nice. Are they Hepco and Becker or some other flavour ????
