Ohlins or ?

ohlins fitted today

Jim Elderfield fitted a set of used Ohlins on my bike today.
I had no real complaints about the original shocks but thought Jim needed the money. ;)
After a small amount of adjustment I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ride was slightly better on a dual carriageway, but bumps and potholes were obviously only half as deep as they had been in the morning and I had become a cornering god with my speeds up to 20mph faster than before. :bow
The bike even felt faster :nenau and hard braking was no drama at all
The A272 from Winchester was demolished in record time.:nono :bounce1
In case you are wondering I am quite pleased:thumb

The bush at the bottom end of the Ohlins shock is about 1/8" wider than the standard. The sliding bush that is in the bolt head side of the swingarm siezes in place meaning the Ohlins will not go in the gap. I found roughly a 2" long 10mm bolt with a washer on the head end and a nut screwed on the end that is in the bush gap will force the bush back in.
After that fitting was a piece of p*ss

Thanks :thumb2
