No, sold my 1150GS Ohlins to enabb, then bought some GSA Ohlins (longer) and wish I'd kept the shorter GS ones (no problem getting my feet down with the taller GSA Ohlins....just makes the GSA a pain to wheel around as the CofG is higher)
Micky did this to his and it was spot on, as he says............Jim McS has standard GS Ohlins on his GSA, coupled to a 2 piece Corbin seat and it's just right.
............if you fancy a trip over the Pennines come and see Russ Watson at Mick Gardner racing in Barnsley. Cheaper than Kais, REALLY knows his stuff and will set them up for you whilst you drink his coffee.
Jimb - its your turn now!!

This was the set up on my standard 1150 and seemed perfect for me, as I guess others have found, although I also use 25mm bar risers and Fastway footpegs.
After nearly 6 years of riding my 1150, I found the ADV riding position didn't fit me at all, seat too tall and uncomfortable, bars to footpegs too close, C of G too high and looks crap.
Just a personal opinion, as I like to sit in the bike not perched up in the clouds
So standard Ohlins it is then.
Sherpa, do you know the phone number for Mick Gardner,?
As Sherpa says, Russ is THE man, £95 for a rebuild, he did both mine and set them up, the bike is totally different, it wasn't bad before but now its super.
Can the standard BMW shocks on the 1200 be rebuilt / revalved etc?
Thinking ahead to when mine start getting "tired", this sounds like a much cheaper option than buying a new set
