I have bought some new ohlins shocks for my bmw r1150 gsa se have I done the right thing lets see what happens

I've just fitted bought and fitted a custom built rear Hyperpro to my 1100 (front on its way) - the difference is remarkable.

Why did you buy them if you weren't sure it was the right thing to do? Was it a £1K+ impulse purchase?

As it happens you have done the right thing. Ohlins front and rear are probably the best mod you can make to an 1150. I've had sets fitted to my last 3 x 1150's and wouldn't have a bike without them now - there's no going back. Transforms the already excellent handling even further.

If you're not a suspension expert its worth paying to get them set up properly.

Its because my rear shock is abit bouncy I saw a good deal on a new set from ebay 900 quid brand new front and rear riding my rt at the moment ,I will use the gs very soon just want things right.
