Oil and fuel gauge lights

Just remembered............I keep meaning to replace me oli light bulb on the dash of my 11 and also the fuel light bulb. Trouble is it seems that one of me lower headlamp mounting screws is threaded in the housing. I take it the bolts are located in plastic and it feels like its threaded.

Any ideas how to get it undone, and is there an easier way to change these bulbs.
