Oil Cooler guard

Have just bought a Touratech Oil cooler guard. Do i need to take off the screen? Has any body fitted one of these? looks a real bugger of a job. BMW tell me that the engine may over heat.!!

Can anybody help me?

You have to remove the beak, and it's not all that difficult to remove.. then the oil cooler guard slips over the oil cooler and you attach to 2 enclosed tie wraps at the back of the cooler guard... and put the beak back on..

Don't worry about what BMW tells you.. the bike won't run hotter either..
