Hi Guys - My 1150 GS has a yellowish discoloration on the rightside of engine casing from earlier oil spillage on it. Any suggestions on how to remove it - elbow grease alone not successful! Cheers.
It will be a petrol stain from leaky QD on the tank or a spillage of some sort. The paint discolours. I don't think it will come off. Sorry

Once again, either Acetone, M.E.K.or Toluolene with a quick wipe "should" get it off. Quick mind you, as it will take paint off too if you're not careful. Again, these are nasties, so all toxic precautions should be taken & keep well away from rubber & plastics too......
