Someone along the lines of Motorworks , {that dont charge VAT on postage}
Had a fair few dealings with Peter @ Reboot , but then he tried to sell me
what can only be described as scrap , and i didnt like that.

Where do you get your Bits n bobs for "older " Guzzis.

European is not a problem , as the 25% on Gbps at the minute is killing
any UK dealing in general .

evening Rob

I used Motocorsa in Dorset (Mike) when I had a Guzzi. Always had/found what I wanted.

anywhere that's got what i need really these days :(

i've seen reeboot's stuff at the v-twin a few times. never been very impressed.

lamers have very good stock, but the prices are somewhat salty.

bought a new starter motor from stein-dinse on ebay - that was a bargain.

i don't know if moto corsa sell parts generally, or just to people they know, but they're primarily a workshop.

Indeed you are correct, they are a workshop but also the sister company to Motomecca, which is who I should have said in the first place. :blast

i was thinking OP was looking for s/h stuff, so i was confused myself.

lamers do s/h, but i've only ever bought new.

agostinis in mandello are good (new parts), but if you're quibbling about VAT on postage, they might not be the best option. last time i ordered, it was €48 flat rate postage for a couple of bits (which were quite cheap).

Yes i am after both new and Second hand ..
I wouldnt mind if i got the chance to quibble , i didnt even get a hearing.
I cannot see how they can add vat to the total amount due , and then add VAT , to my mind its paying vat twice. There is already VAT on postage..

And yes i have to agree , Re-boot seems to chance selling you what he has
that answers the description , whether its in good or bad condition..

".... there is a single supply for which the VAT liability is based on the liability of the goods being delivered. For example, any element of the price attributed to the doorstep delivery of milk and newspapers will also be zero rated. On the other hand any element attributed to the delivery of standard rated mail order goods will be standard rated."

If you are apparently paying vat on vat speak to the vat people...

I just didnt like it.
Yes i think i am Paying VAT twice.
I had a Pow wow with Irish Customs on this and had a Fair oul sum returned
but for the Coupla pound involved with motorworks , i dont think economical to me .i dont like it.

Much more interested in Guzzi Bits right now .
T3 Loom Anyone ? Rob ?
