Just before this sign is 'The Stang' a brutal climb I did in a cycle race a few weeks ago, it made me feel every one of my near 48 Years. The beemer is the only bike I have owned from new, and the best all round bike I have ever owned. Its lost 3K in value over 6 years as far as relationships go its been kind of emotional.
The Tan Hill pub the highest pub in England, the weather was OK at home with a slight breeze, it was blowing a gale at Tan hill as you can see from the sign and pissing down. I have caught hundreds of rabbits for farmers on land around this pub over the years but stoped around 12 years ago it seems a lifetime ago now...life seemed a whole lot easier then, I could not even bring myself to kill a rabbit now....whats all that about.
And a quick one as I dipped into Cumbria and Kirby Stephen on my way home. And ferkit a quick one of Joeys bike just because I'm in a nostalgic mood
