Only slightly panicking

Hi all,
I'm off to sunny France at the beginning of July (Sat 7th to be precise ), and am having a great deal of difficulty booking a hotel in the Epernay region just south of Reims , I think they must be" turning the grapes" " running the pigs" or whatever other festivals happen there at this time of the year. (Looking forward to it whatever it is).
So my question is does anybody know any B&Bs, small hotels,campsites, that hire caravans etc. any web site links would be gratefully received. Thanks Richard

Have you tried Logis de France Richard? I have used their hotels several times and can recommend them.

Not to far south from Reims is the Foret De l'orient, there are some good campsites round there. try google

Not sure if you're looking for Reims specifically, but if just looking for somewhere a couple of hours from Calais we stayed at an excellent "chambres d'hote" B&B in March, at Danizy near Laon. As per attached thread:

Thanks for all the help and replies, unfortunately still having problems as it would appear it is the French half turn, working on the assumption that not all F1s can be full and resolved to drive further away hopefully I won't be sleeping in a ditch. Thanks again.
