Job done, after much deliberation and help from the views of forum members........bought one of the last of the outgoing 12GS's, with some twiddly bits on it, and a discount !.....roll on saturday 26th.

Just need to get out there and use it.....

The dealer dosen't need to by in Surrey to be close, Bahnstormer is only 15-20mins down the A31. They have a couple of last gen GS's for a grand off list! There PX deals tend to be a touch more real!

Indeed, my first struggle was trying to work out which dealer to go to. I'm almost exactly equidistant from Vines, Bahnstormer and North Oxford.

look for a grand off list ! easily 'dooable', if you can get your hands on one of the few left in the showroom !

really pleased with my deal, looking forward to getting to some meetings again !

Vines seemed keen to take deposits on GS800s although they appeared to have a shed full of GS1200s around the back....

I think I can wait until all the trade-ins for the latest little marvel arrive in store
