OOPS!

I saw the video earlier, the fact it was both exhausts and nothing in between suggests it wasn’t just something flicked up off the road.

I would imagine it would melt and stick to the exhausts but not to the engine as not hot enough , like I said same happened to me and no plastic on the engine just at the point at which contact would have been made as it blew into the lower parts of the engine and to add he comes across a bit dopey so running over and not noticing an innocent plastic runaway would not surprise me , a saw mine as it flew up from underneath a van , so I stopped and saw the same but no bag.
 
On that video it looked like whatever it is was on both pipes, back to the collector on one side. I don't know why NTP took the video down.
 
NTP has posted a new video - sounds like he rode the bike before the sales guy removed plastic wrapping around the exhaust. He’s a bit embarrassed to say the least.
