Opera

i'm assuming you mean for pc.

definitely :)

been using it for a few months now, not going back to IE.

there is the odd compatability issue with a few sites, but nothing major. has a small isue with the private message notification on this site.

the free version puts a stupid great advert over some of the buttons.

tabbed browsing is so good that MS are copying it in next version of IE.

ditto in built pop-up blocker.

opera gets way less browser hi-jacks & other script-monkey malarkey.

loads up your favourite pages every start, not just one.

will start where you left off last time if you want.

will re-open inadvertantly closed pages.

good skins available.

just no room for extra buttons you may want to add in preferences. they get hidden by banner.

ps. i did find getting my head round the whole bookmarks/favourites thing in opera a total PITA. it's not a folder like in IE, but a text document. there is a manager, but i found it very awkward.

I use Opera for all my general browsing on my PC in the house.

I tend to use it with everything switched off, so I don’t get redirected, or inundated with pop-ups, and I think it’s the mutts nuts.

IE is still there in the background for the odd site with compatibility issues or when I visit a site that is heavily into java, but I only revert to IE when I trust the site 100%.

Opera is with out doubt my preferred browser. :thumb

Help

Opera :(
My hard drive is filling up fast ,
I've cleaned out the cache but i still feel theres more internet stuff hidden somwhere, can't even find any cookies.
explorer 6 used to have all the things in the temporary internet files

Opera. Hmmm. Not the most compatible browser but pretty good.

Mozilla Firefox - now we are talking! That is one mean & fast browser. Add on some of the optional (but free) extras like the whole website grabber and it is unbeatable. Not for the techie faint-at-heart though to get it properly setup & working.
