Rocket

For sure one hellovabike, i have the touring version hmmm

Takes a bit of getting the sus on how to ride but once you there

hold on sit back and enjoy......If you get the touring get the touring seat
with back rest a must:blast

The dealers are a lottery go on recomendation

take on a good road test, take home and park it where you
would and move the bike...

Good luck any questions just ask

What a hideous waste of time and money.

And just what proportion of the sad twats that ride them are crippled do you think? 5% at the very most I'd have thought.

then at least the 5% are getting there kicks and the other twats can sit in the traffic:thumb

theres no accounting for taste fella live and let live:beerjug:

I do know Smarden yes Chad

crikey thats a bounce back from a while ago:D:D

i was working there on a fookin great house for about six months end of last year into this year,

some great roads around there so i decided to leave my kit on site and commute , trouble was it was taking me longer to get home because i kept finding better twistys and being led further afield :beerjug:

My View

I have always hankered after a R3 and after the local dealer had 2 on his floor that where really good deals I thought now is the time to trade. I set off for the dealers, it was torential rain and heavy wind got to the dealers and was absolutely soaked not the best day for a test ride so taked figures and realised i was going to lose abit in the PX for the 1200GS but could live with that.

I had to get home and it was still pouring down, the next day it was much the same and by the time i got to the dealers it finally struck me...

I use the GS day in day out, good weather bad weather and all through winter, it had unfaultedly got me through the trip in the most horrendous conditions and not missed abeat, I just could'nt see myself doing that on the R3 !! especially after the last 2 days.

In short if i had the option of having an extra bike in the garage for sunny weekends etc then the R3 would undoubtly be the next on the list but as an everyday bike i just could'nt picture it doing what the GS does so well (imho).
