My parents are looking for a TFT monitor and this seems to fit the bill perfectly at just £149.

Take a look at ARIA for excellent deals on TFT monitors, they have one at £133.89 inclusive of the dreaded VAT

Main thing to look for is the response time, 16ms is about as high as you want to go, 8ms are the best you can get so anyhting in between will be fine
