I've just adjusted the valve clearances and when finished I was replacing the little rubber stopper on the RH crank cover which shows the timing marks, when I pushed a bit hard and it fell in!
I had a spare and have correctly replaced that - however...
Where will the little rubber bung end up?
Will it simply bounce around in the bottom of the dry clutch area and not cause grief, or will it potentially work its way into an oil-way blocking position?
Any body else been a complete prat and done this too?
What was the outcome/what are your recomendations?
Kind regards,
John.
