Hi all, does anyone know of a source of the plastic connectors which enables different leads to connect to the optimate? I have three bikes, so it would actually be quite expensive to buy the genuine leads, when all i need is some two-core cable and the connector blocks. I know Maplins probably do them, but my nearest branch is miles away, so it would be a great help if someone knew the appropriate part number.
Thanks in anticipation, Martin.

Have a look on EBay;)

Thanks for replies, chaps-don't wish to sound mean, but I have a BMW accessory plug and any number of eyelet connectors. Just seemed a bit pointless spending a tenner for the beemer lead and another fiver for the eyelet lead, when all I need are the poxy plugs.
Cheers anyway!

Try your local model shop as they are used as charging connectors on models.

Or search ebay for "Tamiya Connector".

Like ebay item: 320240645018

Maplins do them as well - just the connectors not the whole lead.

"Tamiya Connector".

Thats where I got mine. A lot cheaper than Maplins as well. I got about ten each male/female and have used them up for wiring up a host of things to power off the Optimate charging fly lead on my battery.

Excellent, thanks guys-I'm always amazed at the breadth and quality of knowledge and experience on this site!
Cheers, Martin.
