Hi,

We are planning 7 days trip thru Slovenia and Croatian Istria.
It should include visit of best places like Ljubljana (old town), Postojna cave (must see), Lipica (domicil of famous horses), Bled, Bohinj (rafting), wine tasting in Kras region, Piran (old town on Slovenian coast), Rovinj (Croatian coast), Pula (Croatian coast), eastern part of Slovenia - Ptuj - again some wine tasting....
The main intention is to visit attractions, having a good food, wine and beer on evenings, various activities (i.e. rough water rafting), etc.

We are working on all inclusive concept (accommodation, food, tickets and guides for attractions, wine tastings, guide on bike, escort van for luggage, etc)

It is planned to start with the trips in May 2012.
The exact offer will be presented on web site in September.

Just checking if it sounds interesting.

Sorry for my bad english.

Best regards

This sounds very interesting. Just a couple of comments:

1. Make the non-motorcycling activities optional. Some people do not drink alcohol so would not want to do the wine tour and I wouldn't be interested in rafting.

2. How will you handle the financial side of the business? Companies operating from the UK and taking people to Slovenia etc have to abide by very strict laws about having separate accounts for customers' money and having an insurance Bond. At the very least, you will need to take booking through VISA and Mastercard (not Paypal) otherwise customers will be unwilling to make a reservation.

3. Invite people from the motorcycling press on free holidays. In fact, invite me & my friend Neil Murray who writes for Bike (he did their recent report on the elefantreffen).

Hi Wessie,
Thanks a lot for your comment. You're hit the point.
There are two options of spending time during the trip. One is just consuming the itinerary or have some with some "country specific taste". At the beginning we will be a bit limited with resources, so we will offer two or three options and will try to be perfect on that.
If you have some time to come in September or October, you are very welcome.

Thanks for the invite but I am on holiday in France at the beginning of September and then have to return to work. Neil is working in the USA next month. I doubt we could coordinate diaries until next spring!

Hi, I'm hoping to be in Slovenia in a few weeks. Not keen on a tour group ride but open to tips and ideas :)
