Original end can

I'm taking my bike to an MoT tester I've never used before, so I decided to remove the (not for road use) Remus Titanium can which came with the bike, and put the original back on. The original one has a rubber grommet in the foot rest hanger mount. On my old Jap bikes, these always had a metal sleeve with a flange on the end which goes into the grommet, through which the bolt goes. Should there be one for the BMW? Bike is a 2002 GSA. If there is, any idea of the part number? I tried Motorworks and Motobins web sites without any joy.

Spacer tube (Item 12) or just use a shoulder bolt ?
