If you're looking for any of these check out THIS site.... virtualy every size and shape and delivery is next day :)

Next Day

Not quite.
Mine took over a week, I guess it depends on stock.
Getting a bit close if you want them for Princetown.
BTW the so called "online order tracking" is a bit lax. I got my bags yesterday and the website is still saying I may get them before the end of September.

Worth the wait though, they're good stuff.

Placed my order 13:50 yesterday afternoon and it arrived 07:30 this morning :)

Bought one of their water carriers at Kelso and attachment to convert it into a small shower (It's black therefore absorbs heat to warm water for shower - feck knows what happens in cold weather though 'cos I shan't be testing it then!). Also converts into beer holder:beerjug:
Delivered within a couple of days - excellent service!

Yep I got the XL racksack and sometimes look for more stuff to put in there:eek: bought that from draveldri but they all similar priced so does not make a difference to me.

Would that be 4 star, unleaded or diesel Jim ;-)

(Only fuel is Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer :beerjug: )

What model/size ortleib...

Hi, what model and size ortleib dry-bag would you recommend for use in place of a top box for touring? I want the biggest possible without overdoing it. Also what ties would you advise to secure it to 1200gs. I have alluminium panniers. Cheers

Get the largest roll closing type. It will always roll down to close if you only half-fill it whereas if it's over-filled you can't get a decent, water-tight closing.

If you get the roll closing type as opposed to the end opening version you can store anything unused in it and still get at the contents without up-ending it.

I use Touratech Lock-straps, simple to use, very strong and secure. They won't stretch when wet.

For security get a cable type lock, pass it around the bag and the rack.

Thanks, so this 89 litre one is the one you mean (see below)? Also, I can't find "lock-straps" anywhere on Touratech's site or elsewhere on the web..do you have a link? Cheers

That's the one I use. Unless you're carrying it across the seat though, you'll need some sort of rack extension.

It's pretty big.....

ROK straps make more sense. Will I really need a luggage rack extension? I was plannng on securing it over my TT paniers without the extension.

Zega Belt?

They are much longer than you think they need to be but don't shorten them!

They will pass up to three times through the latch-lock (through separate slots).

I have 4 of these straps apart from lashing bags and all sorts to the bike I've also used them, linked end to end between trees to sling a Tarp over.

I wasn't happy with the blue baler-twine supplied by one ferry operator to lash the bike down, two of the belts did the trick.

Mine are still like new after lots of use.

At £7 a go they're not pricey for what they are.

That'll be fine. It's only if you were just using the rear rack.
