Recognition at last, no doubt due to the interest in the Felixtow meet arranged by "needsalongerone":D

How many of us are out there in 'East Anglia' ? Its a large area so should be quite a few.

Looking forward to lighter eavenings and the possibility of meeting some of you.

Hmm, replying to my own thread. Is this the first sign .........?

Do I belong here? I've just noticed that Essex comes under the South East area - not East Anglia!

Oh well, would you mind terribly if I came along to just one or two events? Please? Assuming some will be arranged!

Yes Martin the geographical boundaries of the South East area are quite interesting - Oxfordshire? Hampshire?

Agreed: Essex not in East Anglia?

TBH, it's left you rather isolated out there. In some respects it's easier for Beds, Bucks and Herts people to meet up with "East Anglia" in somewhere like Braintree than it is to go down to Kent or to Hampshire.

Oh well . . . Lisa and I regularly visit Black Notley and Chelmsford at the weekend. We'll give you a shout so you don't feel too left out!

:D

Essex

I asked Paul to do the mods because I was feeling lonely

We used the Govenment giudelines for rural divids I fink..

Essex can be a honourary member of East anglia...as long as you keep all those Speed cameras your side of the Border.

Graham

PS "needsalongerone" certainly do in this weather

:D :D

Essex Divided

Unlike my fellow Maldonian, Martin, I am not going to ask for honory East Anglian membership. I'm claiming it as a birthright!!

Anyone living in the catchment areas of the rivers, Crouch, Blackwater and Colne should be considered an East Anglian if only because we have the joy of receiving our TV from Anglia, our water from Anglian Water our trains are by Anglia Trains.......

Need I go on??
