Outback panniers on new gs

A mate of mine got all the big burgers and as he found out he could not fully open the large right hand one so make sure you get the right ones
He has a 2010 Tc Gs

All is fine on the lc,mine are both 37ltr not that makes any difference to the 58 top box

Hi crashhat. 3 questions for you about the panniers.
1. Is the 48ltr one for our near side.
2. Are the locks at the rear.
3. Can you open the panniers with the top box fitted as the box looks huge

Hi yes 48l is on the left.
All locks are on the rear
Yes you can open panniers with top box fitted. The right 37l opens without issue the 48l does catch but it does pass as there is some give on the hinge.
Just had 1st weekend away with them and got everything I needed in without any problems. Really pleased with them.

Thats good to know crashat. I must admit the only thing putting me off is that its a foreign website. I get the bike next Saturday, so i better make my mind up then

Yeah i was also hesitant but the same site trades on ebay with good feedback so I thought wth saved a load.

Crash at and hitch hiker. Did you use the brackets for the rear indicators ?. When i fitted the frame it looks like they don't foul anything so i don't know why they need moving

I was wondering about the indicator brackets. I never went near the indicators when I fitted the rack so I left the brackets off.

Panniers fit no problem, couldn't see the point in disturbing the indicators if I didn't need to.

Looking at this set up - strangely it comes with everything except the plate to mount the top box. Plus I'd rather have 48L & 37L panniers with 42L top box but the site doesn't have the option. Only 48L + 37L + 58L

I think you'll find that is a 42ltr top box

Yes it is but it's two 37L panniers instead of the 48L & 37L set up I'd like.
