My last cover has lasted 8yrs......time for a replacement. Has anyone had one from here: http://www.specialisedcovers.com

The invoice from the last cover I bought was 'Specialised Car Covers' which I guess could be these guys - both based in West Yorkshire....

Any recommendations ? I dont like the heavy duty covers. The bike is used daily for commute to work and gets covered up overnight at home and weekends.

I use one of these on the occasions that mine sits outside....

It's suffered some UV fading but otherwise, it's been very good.

Hmm - these look a little more plasticky/tent material. The 'Stormshield Lite' is a multi-layer fabric cover (100% waterproof) like my 8yr old one and it hasnt faded at all. Looks to be a good £20 cheaper but think the extra £20 will be well spent on my first choice. Thanks for recommendation/suggestion though.

check this cover from oxford, its a bit pricey but its worth it.
my bike spends most of it life out side, and when i had one of those plastic covers, i would have to wait for bike to cool down before i could put it on, and most time i would forget going back out to the bike so it would end up spending the night in the rain..
with this one , throw it on the bike straight away and the jobs done.

its 100% waterproof, heat resistant and has soft material on the inside so no scratch marks on the tank

I have just replaced my cover bought in 2001 / 2 from Rainbow Motorcycles. Bought same type its a Wunderlich. Will cover GSA with Topbox and Panniers on the bike.

Have used old cover on wifes F650GS single, only reason to change front had frayed and started to split, not bad for a cover over 10 years old. Still fine on other bike as it is smaller/lower.

Expensive at £65 but excellent product and service life.:thumb

Andrew sent from my front room using a keyboard and a computer.

I just called them to order one as my cheap oxford cover is full of holes and they asked me if I have a top-box, which I do so they need me to measure the height from the ground to the top of the box as well as the width and they will tailor the cover for my bike. They also do this for non-standard screens and panniers.

Anyone know the hight of the the standard vario top-box from the gound and the width of the box? Standard 06'GS.

Cheers, Mike
