Anybody recommend a good all-weather cover for the GS which fits WITH the top box attached?

I have an Oxford Stormex [i think] with the fleecy lining, but doesn't fit over the bike with the top box attached and I can't be arsed to keep taking the top box off to fit it.

Do BMW do a cover? Or is there a good alternative someone can offer?

Much thanks.

There's a guy wwho regularly ofers covers on eBay for the range of BMW bikes.

He does indoor AND outdoor covers, and if you select the cover with the code number 054 it'll fit the GS PLUS top box and come to the ground.

This is one of his covers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=25643&item=7917262010&rd=1, albeit for the R1150R.

As I said, look for the code 054 -- contact him direct if you need one.

My super size Nelson Rigg cover does the job perfectly. Got it from M&P ages ago so not sure if it's still available. I recall seeing something very similar in Fowlers as well. My mate's got a useful looking one from Southport Superbikes recently and that seems quite good too.

I got mine from these people, Classic Additions .

Not the cheapest but fits over an 1100GS with a 52L Givi box on it and still comes half way down the wheels.

Second one I've had as the GS was a little bigger than my old bike...

thanks for all of that, fellas.

The ebay link which sells redbee products is hopeless. Go to their website and you can't even pay for the goods via PayPal!! And they don't seem interested in helping out and replying to my need to part with money. I would avoid this supplier, even if their product is great.

I have now purchased from Specialised Bike Covers from www.bike-covers.com . Their website allows you to specify the cover for your bike, which might have some alterations [ie top-box, panniers, etc] and 44 quid seems a good price.

Will let you all know if it's yay, or nay.
