Outer Hebrides ?

I set up a weeks tour back in the mid 90s that I've done many times since, as have a few other folk, using Cal-Mac's Rover ticket.

It took in 19 island over 25-ish ferry crossings.

I've not checked the ferry timetable recently but I doubt it's changed too much since I last did it 3 years back...

If you're interested, pm me Martin and I'll see if it's still easy enough to 'join the dots'..😊

The biggest...and best(?) difference is the Mallaig-Lochboisdale crossing?

Photographs of the Uists and Hebrides can make the place look like the Caribbean. What you don't see is the howling wind; the constant threat of rain and the true feeling of just how cold it really is.

But the scenery and people are really great and the area is very much worth a visit. If you can stand a boat or rent a heliocopeter to St Kilda, you'll find it's like Tracy Island.

BTW you should be able to park up your company vehicle on the beach at Barra.

That's the Irish language on that sign in the picture.
(please, no history lectures)
I know we have Gaelic links, but that's pure Irish.

Sent using a Jedi mind trick!

Wouldn't dream of handing out a history lesson, but they spell 'whisky' the Scottish way ;)

The spelling doesn't matter, it's what it tastes like that's the important thing!!
