Motorcycle direct expensive. Bikesure looks to be reasonable. Will feed back anything else I find.

IME there's no difference in the cost of insurance between a solo or outfit.

Is it a 'classic' bike? If so go with one of the insurers that cover classics.

FWIW I use CN for my outfit, along with my other bikes as they suit my needs fine

My 1200 is insured through BMW/Devvit. I just added my R80 outfit to that and they charged me abut £11.00 extra. About £130 total.

Make sure that the sidecar is covered as in a "complete" outfit. Some insurance companies only cover it as a bolt-on accessory - together with the limit they set for accessories

I've known some people that haven't found that out until it was too late

When I had my outfit(s) most of the time I was with CN I can recommend their recovery (especially from Germany), but that was when Carole was in charge
