Outlook 2003 - two "Inboxes"?

This has puzzled me for a while and wonder if there is an easy answer :o

I use Outlook 2003 on my PC and it synchronises with my £14.99pa Hotmail account - I recall that I had to cough up to get the synchronisation functionality.

My "Favorite Folders" are my Hotmail Inbox, Junk Mail, Sent and Deleted folders.

I have a substantial folder system (not as full as it was after my pst file emptied itself) in Personal Folders, one of which is "Sent Items".

My query is that most of the emails I send go in the Hotmail Sent but, say, when I send a document from within Word it only gets stored in the Personal Folders "Sent Items" folder yet it must have used Hotmail to send

This all means that I have to remember to check both Sent boxes if I am looking for an old email and also that there is tons of duplication :(

Anyone know why the two boxes and how to synchronise them please?
