I've done a stupid thing!

I use several ISP's with Supanet being my default.

If I log onto the net via an ISP other than Supanet, then when I press the 'send or recieve' button I get a window asking if I want to disconnect from this ISP, or try and find the server via this connection?

There is also a check box that can be ticked if I don't want to recieve this window in the future.

I stupidly ticked the check box, and so now, if I connect via another server, and then press 'send recieve' I immediately get disconnected from the net. aaaaaaaargh!

My question is.... How do I get the window back giving me the options?

Pleeeease help.

Start Internet Explorer.

Choose Tools --> Options --> Connection Settings.

There you will see a list of available dial-up connections. Click the one you use, select Settings then Advanced. In this window you will see an option "Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed" Un-tick this box. Problem solved.

Still trouble

Thanks for those hints but still a problem.

I didn't actually explain very well perhaps: It's actually in MS Outlook (2000) that the problem occurs, When I press the send recieve button in Outlook the window used to appear... Now it doesn't, because I checked that 'don't remind me' box.

Any more clues?
