I'm after a pair of breathable and waterproof overtrousers.

I currently use a BMW pair (hellish expensive but I got them cheap:D) which have lasted a good 7 years (road and trail).

I can't seem to find anybody who makes them anymore :nenau

Any recommendations out there?

Right on cue:thumb

I am contemplating the very same, because I think the 'Spout overtrousers' look is the best option

I've looked at some Lowe Alpine HiDry which seem pretty durable

I use Aerostich darien trousers for commuting - great because they full length zips allowing you to easily get them on and off at your destination. Have lasted a good 40,000 miles and still keep me dry :thumb2

NATO issue Gortex Camo overtrousers from your local Army Surplus (Anchor in Nott or Ripley near enough for you Spout?)

£35 new, less for 'pre-issued'. Had several pairs over a 20 year period, last for ages, cheap as chips. One's I no longer use on the bike are retired to winter work wear.

Carry a couple of carrier bags to stick your booted feet in before donning said troosers and you won't need zips :thumb
