It is considerably cheaper than the usual alternatives, but is it any good for occasional or infrequent use? Any advice would be appreciated, so thank you all.

oddball Guest Nov 9, 2006 #2 Dave, I have had a go with one of there if it is indeed the same unit i am thinking of. For pootling about town and having a way of communicating its ok but it eats batteries. Bike powered is better however it is compromised as it is built to a price. Also had a go with backchat clipper which is basically pipes connected, it was aweful and gave both of us severe ear ache.
