Oxford Stormex Sizing

Hi all I have a standard 1200GS TC which has been garaged but now has to live outside. I currently use a Aquatex XL which appears to have the dimensions 250 (H) x 124 (H) acoording to the web. The length is perfect and the height is spot on at the back - however the lower half of the front wheel shows.

However I noticed it has a hole in the cover so thought about getting a new Stormex. However the size options appear to be large which is 246 x 127 or XL which is 277 x 141. So really I want the length of the first and the height of the second !

I dont have panniers or topbox. Anyone got the latest version and can comment on best fit before I order ?

I've got the new stormex on my 1150gsa. With the top box the rear only goes down to just below the pannier rails, without the top box it covers most of the rear wheel. This years is definately a slimmer fit than previous ones.

Is it a large or an extra large ? If the latter is the length ok ?

It's the XL. The length is fine, it's just a tighter fit all round
