Oz B&B's, Hostels etc Sydney-Frazer Island

In March the wife and I are travelling from Sydney to Frazer Island and back to Brisbane.

Any ideas would be welcome. Not taking the GS

Hire car is going to be order of the day.

If anybody has an Oz map for Garmin Zumo to buy or borrow?

A long time ago I stayed in a motel in Woolamaloo which is just outside Sydney but walkable to the opera house harbour bridge etc and it was cheap but it is on the edge of the red light district so
