oziexplorer info anyone ??

I've got a streetpilot SP3 and mapsource and city nav for Aus.

No problems, no worries everything works great.

I downloaded a set of Aus maps in Oziexplorer format ( *. ozf2 format )
(evaluation purposes only to see if they are better/worse than mapsource )

What else do i need to use them / install them / look at them and what would the procedure be ?

You can't. Garmin (and Magellan et al) mapping and use on their GPS is properitary. You're stuffed. This is one (of many) of the reaons I use a PDA on my GS 1150 Adv. I run OziExplorer CE on my IPAQ. You will also find the mapping for the Gramins is virtually useless if you want to do some genuine adventure riding. It will be fine for use around most town(s).

That being said, you're trying to use raster mapping with a vector mapping GPS. Two different technologies.
