OK Paddy. I'm really not sure if I'm looking forward to what comes next! I've only just got used to purple.

If someone wants a purple gs from bmw. They get exactley the same purple as mine was done. I've atleast two photo's of other purple F800GS's, one in UK. Other one in USA.




I haven't come across any F800GS in full carbon livery. Nor do I expect to see another one

Yes (not knowing overly too much about Carbon fiber) it does seem to be pre-impregnated carbon. I'm hoping not to have to bake it.

After reading your post I drew back some of the carbon & found it moist with a white layer of sticky crap (really hot inside my static caravan). I was told "to do it properly you have to bake the carbon". I'm not going to be doing it that way.
