Hi Lads,by choice i'm pretty much computer illiterate so excuse my ignorance.Last 2 or 3 months my laptop homepage has become increasingly slow to load.Whilst struggling to load,i frequently get a little picture on the screen, looks like 2 snowflakes and a face wearing a scarf.Says "The following page(s) have become unresponsive. You can wait for them to become responsive or kill them." I tried "killing" them off to speed it up but to no avail.Put it in for a annual service/healthcheck,guy say's it is ok but very slow given the capability of the processor.Anyone any idea what i can do to speed it up/fix it ? Thanks in advance Neil

Seems a reasonably common problem with using chrome as your browser - a quick google gives lots of results from people with the same problem.
This link gives the most common solutions in a fairly easy to understand way.

Linky

If that doesn't work then I would suggest maybe deleting Chrome as your browser and downloading Firefox ( free browser and usually trouble free)
from here

Firefox

If that speeds things up then problem is the browser and not your pc, if its still slow then pc has another issue
