Can anyone help please I have a 2007 GSA in I believe its called White Aluminium I am looking for the paint code and where I can buy the said colour so I can paint my box lids.

For what it is worth, once you have localed the colour code under the seat, try an automotive paint supplier. I had no problem in obtaining twin pack spray paint for my R1100RS to repair the fairing after "an off". With the code they identified it on a match card set and then mixed it for me. The mix was a perfect match and you would not know the difference.

Whilst we're on the subject.............what's the silver paint used on the frames.......smooth Hammerite's great for the black bits, however silver's always an absolute pain to match!.............any ideas?

Frame silver is a sore point here. BMW dont list a touch-up for the frame so I spent an hour at Halfords with their paint matching books. BMW Mini silver was the best match we came up with. Its OK for where Mrs Bear's boots have worn the pillion heel guards down to bare metal. Dont use it on the handlebars though. From one angle its almost perfect, but from every other it stands out like a sore thumb.
