Hi all,
New to this so go gently with me .... plenty of KY:comfort

can any one give me the paint codes / part number for "Titan Silver" touch up sticks....

Any recomended supplier other than your friendly or no so BM dealer

Regards

Malcolm

Titan silver metallic code 354
Titan silver 2 code 833
should be able to get it mixed at any automotive paint supplier, but check under your seat for the code first on the metal cross tube behind the battery,3 digits.

If only the paint code was under the seat .... it most certainly isn't & cannons cannot tell me why it's not
But then again they supplied the bike with only one set of keys, if they missed that how would they of seen a missing decal.

many thanks though for the codes

Regards

They did that to me as well and then had to order one in me, they also didn't supply the plastic emergency key until they were asked for it.

I think they did the same to me. The owners manual says there should be a spare key, i had assumed that it meant the plastic one. So there should have been a spare metal key?

Hi Fat Bob... (Sorry that's not really PC is it). I'm new to this forum but cant have helped noticing the numerous not so good posts on Cannon's

I will write about my escapade at a later date ... but due to a cock up on the salesman's part the bike was the wrong spec to what I'd ordered when i went to pick it up.
It was delivered to me in a van some time later.... no formal hand over, missing the panniers that were on it when i went to pick it up. & only one key

That was several weeks ago...... total silence and no key.:(

I'll give then another couple of weeks before i start writing to Mr & Mrs Cannon cc BMW.:type

Some days your the pigeon & others the statue....

Regards

Malcolm

IIRC up to around the start of '06 bikes were supplied with two metal keys and one plastic key. This then changed and one of each was supplied. My '54 had two when I got my '06 it arrived with one but the dealer SSB got me another, gratis, cos they knew i'd be pished about it.
Kick up a fuss matey.

I would have to agree with you generally. I personally know several people who have trouble with their bikes after being serviced by Cannon - one had an oil leak and was lucky not to have been in an accident on the way home, the other had overfilled oil which was also leaking and had to find a BMW garage to fix it while touring on the continent.

But credit where's its due, Cannon have come through for me. I have rust on my bike's frame
http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186313&page=5. I tried to get it fixed under warranty through another dealer but the claim was rejected. At the next service I tried again through Cannon and the claim was accepted. How or why I don't know, and at this point I don't really care!

I think they are trying, but they need to sharpen up their act, improve on the customer service and make less mistakes.
